I wonder if this is an issue with the 3.12 kernel series.

Do you know how to update the kernel in TS? Can you try 3.13 and 3.14?

Unfortunatley I haven't updated the kernel in TS yet or even compiled one myself. However, if you could provide me a short step-by-step howto document on which steps I have to perform to do that I can perfectly test that and report back.

I made a script in for 5.3 that will recompile all the kernels for you. It's called rebuild-kernels, and can be run from the chroot. You can change the version of the kernel by updating ts/ports/kernel-modules/VERSION, to which ever version you want.
