Good question. One way I can think of to support this would be for the new GraphDatabase() constructor to support passing an object of options instead of just a simple URL, just like the request constructor. We could then pass that object to request. What do you think?

that is the best option. in the future you may need non-request related options object to pass in addition, but you could decide not to use any of the parameters request knows so they will be the same object.

Ok, added support for this. Would you mind giving this a quick spin to test that it works for you? Not released to npm yet, but it's on the develop branch of this repo.

Went with what we discussed: new GraphDatabase({url: '...', proxy: '...'}).
