Looking at the API docs it seems that Stripe's API only accepts integers.

https://stripe.com/docs/api?lang=php#charges

For example, £30.20 would be 3020.

However the Omnipay amount validation errors on non decimal values:

"Omnipay\\Common\\Exception\\InvalidRequestException":"Please specify amount as a string or float, with decimal places (e.g. '10.00' to represent $10.00).","at":"/var/www/vendor/omnipay/common/src/Omnipay/Common/Message/AbstractRequest.php:169"

Sorry guys, I've just seen that it's only Stripe's response that formats it like that. I'm probably not the first to have fallen into this trap. Will close the issue. Sorry for your time guys, great work on this package. :)

No problem. Omnipay abstracts the differences between various gateways, and this is one of the details we handle for you. Omnipay always accepts amounts with a decimal place, and we have that validation error in place to prevent people falling into this trap accidentally.
