App uses xhyve which comes with it.

btw I will a new version soon, which does not save Mac user's password to the disk but saves to Keychain instead

yes please! 👍 i saw mr. burns request, and i completely agree. outside of my company I am ok, but this is a sticking point for running on corp MBP. thanks for the addition!

so I used the included project to compile the application and grabbed the final application artifact (.app file), ran it and used the menu bar "Setup" and "Up" menu items. Is there more to it?

Just under "Setup" you need to type your Mac user password, maybe that step was not right?
as "sudo" needs to be used twice in the App, get macaddress to uuid and start xhyve

deleted the /Users//kube-solo directory and ran Setup again, and things skipped along happily. thanks for the awesome project! excited to see where this ends up going and having more features/options added in.
