I think we need jekyll/minimal: Very minimal image: https://github.com/envygeeks/jekyll-docker.

Create a separate repo for the container called (something like)tc-docker. Add relevant docs. For reference: https://docs.docker.com/get-started/

After fixing some issues I'm reminded that in CircleCI are using a docker image circleci/ruby:2.3.7 which is a ruby container not a jekyll container. This might be worth investigating.

Actually we are using circleci/ruby:2.6.0-node now. So this should be easily used. Follow the same details as in our CircleCI config: https://github.com/TestingConferences/testingconferences.github.io/blob/master/.circleci/config.yml
