What about I just remove that line? It's not useful anyway.
Are you using the option -w (warning only)? Another option is to remove it in warning only mode.

Another thing I want to consult you is that I’m planning to move the warning output to stderr, will that influence your use?

Hi Terry,

great idea, then let's remove that line entirely.
Regarding printing output to stderr, that's absolutely fine with me, I obtain stdout and stderr and can evaluate both in the framework.
