Hi,

Thanks for using lizard:-)
What about I just remove that line? It's not useful anyway.
Are you using the option -w (warning only)? Another option is to remove it in warning only mode.

Another thing I want to consult you is that Iā€™m planning to move the warning output to stderr, will that influence your use?

Hello,
I am using lizard as part of a larger code checking framework at work and therefore need to parse its output (great tool that works without much fiddling, by the way). In case no problems are found, a "No warning found. Excellent!" message is printed. I believe the more unix-oid way would be to print nothing and just quit quietly (that would also make parsing more straightforward). Do you think you could change this for the default settings or add a "--quiet" option or show it only for "--verbose"?
Thanks and best regards

Hi Terry,

great idea, then let's remove that line entirely.
Regarding printing output to stderr, that's absolutely fine with me, I obtain stdout and stderr and can evaluate both in the framework.

Thanks and best regards!

Hi,

It has been removed already in the trunk now. And I will create a new release this weekend for pip install.
