Hi,
I was trying to change panels while not flying to remove the OSD info and
configure my camera with its own OSD, but the MinimOSD is blocking the camera
OSD.
Can you please allow to change panels (especially the off one) when disarmed
even if we do have a no gps signal warning or low rssi.
I think when disarmed I can ignore maybe all warning maybe except battery low.
I know I can connect directly to the camera but I don't want to remove
connections and reconnect.
Thanks:
Shay Sevet.

It might be posible to measure vtx battery voltage like it is done on minoposd?
Right now there is no way using APM to measure this, but it sshould be too
difficult to make voltage divider like:
http://code.google.com/p/minoposd/wiki/FlightBatt
it is an excellent OSD already, and I think this feature is widely used in
other osd. I remark so far I am very happy with minimosd extra but we always
want more

Is it possible to add a calculated mah consumed from battery percentage?
if battery capacity is set to 10 000mah in arducopter parameters it should be
easy to calculate Mah consumed from the percentage remaining.
I use different sizes of battery depending on me wanting to do fast flying or
just cursing for a ling time. so it's a pain in the ass to have to change this
all the time or do on-the-fly calculations :p
For example 40% remaining from Mavlink would mean 6000Mah Consumed
20% remaining = 8000Mah consumed
90% = 1000mah consumed
And so on.
I don't have the knowledge on how to do this. But knowing programing in
general, i know that this would be easy to implement for those that know the
programming language.

other field. Virtual horizon responds, but instead of dashes I see either

Hi there,
I'm trying to build the MinimOsd-Extra firmware to add some small changes for a
friend, but when I try to build it in the Arduino 1.0.1 IDE on Ubuntu 12.10, I
get a whole lot of errors of the following kind:
In file included from

Any ideas what might be causing this? I can do the build on Windows 7 but it
would be nice to get it working on Ubuntu.
Also, would it be possible to add a wiki page with some build instructions,
e.g., recommended build tools, platform, setup, etc? For the Arduino IDE I had
to copy the MinimOsd-Extra directory to ArduCAM_OSD to match the .ino file
name, so perhaps the Arduino IDE is not what you guys are using?
Cheers, Andrew.

This is enhancement suggestion:
Is it possible to show decimals like 0.6m for altitude?
For all flying multicopters alt above the ground is critical. Most of flight
controllers are using MS5611 pressure sensor with 0.1m resolution. It will be
great to see decimals of altitude if it is, lets say less then 10m above the
ground level (home altitude). This range and decimal option can be configurable.
Looks like to enable decimals in alt to be always shown the following changes
in code need to be done:
In OSD_Panels.ino line 585
osd.printf("%5.0f%c", (double)(osd_alt_to_home * converth), high);
should be changed to
osd.printf("%7.1f%c", (double)(osd_alt_to_home * converth), high);
Having Arduino dev experience I can't proper open and compile the project from
the sources.
can someone recompile the code to hex with this changes?

It seems that R590 does NOT request the streams from APM itself but relies on
the user setting the stream rates via APM planner.
That behavior makes just spontaneous FPV-flying impossible as well as basically
excludes the usage of the OSD for users without laptop and telemetry.
It would be better not to rely on MP but to let the OSD send the stream request
itself, like in older versions.

I can switch now between screens. At first I thought that screen 2 isn't
working.. but reading here gave me idea of active error is not letting me in to
the screen 2. So that is ok (switching is working perfect).
Noticed that I can't get into the menu (before 60 sec passed and screens are
changing as suppose to change, but can't get into menu).
I noticed that after 60sec passed I can't get empty screen (only with my active
error).. latter noticed that actually i get into screen 3 (empty) but seems
that MinimOSD forgets to clear the screen, all things are in the own area but
not changing (as was in screen 1 but looking as picture). :)
So there is similar issue as it was with AHI (doesn't erase prev. char). But
noticed this just after some time after boot (maybe those 60sec passed.. not
sure).
I am looking forward to fly on Sunday, so this fix would be nice test.
Will provide video footage :)

Hi,
Could you please allow the BPS to be configurable in the OSD Config so that
MinimOSD can talk to APM modules which have been configured to use telemetry
rates lower than 57600?
I know it's possible to amend #define TELEMETRY_SPEED in the source but for
some reason I have issues when I compile the source for this project and others
may well have changed their telemetry rates when using FrSKY and OpenLRS. It
would be great if MinimOSD-Extra supported this without having to be recompiled.

Neil.

I've a little problem. I'll use the minimOSD parallel to 3DR to config the

connected the minimOSD with (-+Rx) to APM. In Wiki or arducam-osd is described,
that you havn't connect Tx from minimOSD to APM (Rx), when you use XBEE oder
3DR parallel.
But I doesn't get any data, when the Tx (OSD) to Rx (APM) isn't connected.

Good day!
Just have tested latest FW 2.1.0, and have found two issues:

:No Data"
2. OSD doesn't start, just only video signal pass through but there is no
Welcome screen e.t.c.
