Book Search is a full-stack MERN app that uses the Google Books API. This app was refactored from an existing RESTful API to a GraphQL API using Apollo Server with GraphQL queries and mutations along with MongoDB, Express, React and Node.

budget-tracker

Budget Tracking Apptotal budget. Transactions are added to the list along with the amount added or subtracted, and the total is displayed at the top of the app. IndexedDB and the Cache API are used to enable this app to function while offline as a PWA and the app is also able to be installed on your desktop or mobile device as well.

code-zone

Code Zone is a developer blog site where users can publish blog posts and comment on others' posts. This is a full-stack app created using the MVC method with a MySQL/Sequelize database, Handlebars and RESTful APIs. Express-session and bcrypt are used for user authentication.

coding-quiz

A simple quiz app made with JavaScript using local storage to save user's names and scores. Score is based on the timer function and if a question is answered incorrectly, 20 seconds are deducted from the timer.

Deep Thoughts is a full-stack MERN app using a GraphQL API and Apollo Server for interaction with the database. React was used on the front-end and MongoDB, Mongoose, Express and Node.js on the backend. GraphQL queries and mutations were used to request data and post data.

A command line employee tracking app using a SQL database with MySQL. Node.js with Inquirer was used to prompt questions in the command line. The user is able to choose from options to view tables containing different employee data, as well as options to add department, role and employees.
