Commit 8df4509 fixed the performance issue in Linux, but it still happens in Windows (10 Home 64Bit).
- No problem Google Chrome browser Version 96.0.4664.45 using the Python3 web server in Windows.
- Same problem using old versions of Phaser/NW.js that used to be fine (Phaser 2.6.2, NW.js 0.49.2).
I am closing this issue, as it appears to be related to Windows 10, not the game or its tools. The problem is most likely Windows Defender, even though I added exceptions for the RocketTux folder and exe.
In any case, the issue goes away after pausing and unpausing the level a few times. Man I hate this web dev system...
