dojo toolkit about todomvc

Hey @johannesjh. A dojo todo app is actually on my todo list for TodoMVC 0.3 :)

I'd love to have one in there as, as you mention, Dojo offer a nicely evolved architecture that would be perfect to compare against the other frameworks we already cover.

It will probably be a few weeks before I get a chance to work on this, but if someone would like to take a stab at it before then, please feel free to!

Nope, sorry. I have been busy trying out KnockoutJS and JavascriptMvc for my thesis so far. Did not have time to look into Dojo.

That's cool. I'm going to see if I can get any other dojo developers on-board to assist with this.

Hey, I'm happy to have a bash at this. Would be nice to show two flavours for creating the app, using declarative & programatic instantiation of widgets. Have forked the repo and will try to have a go this weekend.

Hey, I've got a basic version working rendering the UI components from a backing store at

Another friend has also been looking at adding inline edit support for the TODO items at jthomas#1

Ran out of time to finish it off this week due to some other commitments, should be able to have a look again after this week.

I was just wondering if you'd had a chance to take a look at your Todo implementation in dojo again. We're currently working on some tasks to get version 0.3 of the project out the door and would love to have this contribution in there. Is there a lot of work left to be done?

I'm happy to ask around to see if we can get someone else to also help out if you might be short on time.

I've been a bit slack working on it due to the holidays but I was planning to finish it off this weekend, does that fit your schedule? When's 0.3 out of the door?

Hey @jthomas. This weekend would be great! no worries. In terms of 0.3, I was thinking of targeting the middle of the month so we definitely have time. It's not a hard timeline by any means. I'm happy waiting on the Dojo example before we push anything official out :)
