Hi Tony,

I don't include database.yml in the :config_files array as I aim to avoid having any production credentials stored in the git repository.

Instead there is a database.yml.example which is copied over by setup_config can be manually renamed and populated with production database details.

Alternatively this gem https://github.com/TalkingQuickly/capistrano-cookbook which is this configuration but packaged as a capistrano addon, there's a task rake database:create which if you're using postgres will:

• create a new database
• create a new user and give it access to that database
• populate a database.yml if it hasn't already been created with suitable credentials
