Anyone else? This makes Mega menu unusable with varying access levels.

At the moment, you cannot make separated configuration for those access levels for the same menu. The menu configuration is the same for each menu. We will think of this issue, but I cannot say when the feature is implemented.

I feel like this is missing out on a major Joomla feature. Access levels have been in Joomla since 1.6 now, and Mega Menu can't take advantage of them? It is a pretty common requirement to have the menu change whether the user is logged in or not, and have a complete duplicate menu is bad technique. The menu items obey the access levels, but the mega menu formatting does not.

So what are my options?

1. Mega menu stores layouts for all children of a particular menu and show/hide to obey access levels.
2. Add a 2nd menu for "user menu" that appears when user is logged in, but only one Mega Menu can be used at a time.
3. ?

This detail of mega menu is very frustrating.
