hi @fxfactorial, I just jumped to the scratch buffer and dropped 10 for statements. Sending whole buffer to the REPL does seem to work for me. Any steps to reproduce, maybe you can create a gist with an example of truncated buffer?

About second issue, I believe it's more of the Swift issue, if you will try to enter Allman style code from the CLI you will get the same error. While it's possible to reformat the code before sending to the REPL, I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

Regarding 1: I think its because the swift repl echoes back, so for example doing:
screen shot 2014-06-11 at 10 32 25 am

yields this in the repl buffer:
screen shot 2014-06-11 at 10 33 45 am
where 318, 319, etc seems superfluous.

In any case, I now think this isn't exactly swift-mode's problem.

I see what you mean, that's a bit annoying. I wonder if it's a comint limitation. I checked inf-ruby and it does the same thing for multiline statements. I'll investigate when I have some time, but not sure if I can fix this.

You can try to work around this with an elaborate comint output filter, but it's probably not worth it.
