The plugin must respect the folder_exclude_patterns and file_exclude_patterns defined in .sublime-project file

The scanning of the pear folder alone makes this plugin quite unresponsive and i would love to exclude that since i rarely need codeIntel for the files in there.

I also having issues with node_modules folder that includes hundreds of JS files.

+1. At the very least it should respect .sublime-project settings. It goes on and on scanning tons of useless crap that just slows it down, making it completely useless.

On a sidenote, I'm looking into the code and hopefully will try and make a pull request soon.
