You're absolutely right, Tim. I'll see what I can do. This will likely take some time as this library relies heavily on DOM manipulation.

Been a long time coming, 4f1d698 removes jQuery. Thanks for the inspiration to finally finish it, @timoxley. @substack, thanks for your post "Weaning yourself off jQuery", after reading it I decided to come back and finish this ticket.
