Hey @nicolalandro, you're really pushing Streamsync!
You can access the Streamsync frontend core via globalThis
and use the function evaluateExpression
.
globalThis.core.evaluateExpression("dna");
I'm currently working on new features which will be a better way to implement this.
- Custom scripts and CSS. You'll be able to link JS scripts and CSS. Also, trigger the imported JS from the backend on demand (via mail, similar to how you trigger a
file_download
oropen_url
). This is coming very soon, in the next release. - Custom components. This will be a great fit for what you're trying to do. You'll also be able to fire and handle custom events, which isn't possible at the moment. This feature will be available two releases from now.

Perfect! I solved It. Instead for call some funcion how can I do?

Awesome! Regarding functions...
- Frontend function. In the latest release, v0.1.12 it's possible to import an ES6 module and trigger a function from the backend.
- Backend function. To trigger a backend function you'd need to fire an event and have a valid event handler. Right now there's no support for custom events, which is probably what you're after. It's coming in the next version together with custom components.
