Static Assets on github pages serving from root rather than project namespace despite staticDirs rewrite [Bug]: about storybook

After updating all the images in my mdx files to be hardcoded to the assets created by staticDirs i can see that it is not only my own static files that are failing but the iframe.bundles.js files as well. When moving between top level mdx articles it will attempt to load them from the root url rather than the subdomain. Refreshing the page will load the assets from the correct location.

Turns out it was PEBKAC. I had a head in my mdx that was setting the base path. removed that and everything works
