Overriding jQuery.fx.prototype.cur conflicts with galleria.js about bxslider-3

As far as I can tell, the fx.cur method being defined here is essentially the same as the one included in jQuery's latest version (except jQuery's does a better job in handling the "auto" value).

Here's the bxslider version:

Here's the jQuery 1.6.4 version:

The bxslider version is causing a conflict with the rotate3Di plugin as well which overrides the cur method because it doesn't handle skew correctly.

I wonder whether bxSlider is overriding this method because an older version of jQuery didn't handle cur as nicely.

I believe removing this method override from bxSlider should not cause an issue assuming you're using jQuery 1.6.4.

But that's just this guy's best analysis of the situation.

This override also conflicts with Qtip 1.0.0. The issue was specific to IE8. Thanks for the suggestion to comment the function out.
