I like it! RHF is very widely adopted so following their standard seems like a good idea as well.

Zod only makes error messages created via chained function calls available in the defs (IE a message added via z.string().email("Bad email") is available, but z.string({invalid_type_error: 'not string'}) is not. So I added custom error messages for chained function call errors. These include set, number, array, and string methods.
This should cover the most common cases of when custom error messages are needed I think, (form string validation, regex, emails, number sizes, integers, array/set sizes, and more). When building forms and such it's pretty uncommon to use anything fancier than that, it certainly covers all my use cases.
Made it usable with an option errorMessages: boolean with default set to off so that it doesn't break anyone's apps with excess properties. Tested it manually with react hook forms ajv resolver, worked great!
