Me too with laravel blades using @onecentlin extension laravel-blade-snippets-vscode. https://github.com/onecentlin/laravel-blade-snippets-vscode In my case i removed this extension because i only use it as complement meanwhile the full support for laravel blade is necessary in my everyday work.
Greetings, I hope that it will be resolved soon because i love this extension

Disable the auto-folding. What i have done at the moment is disable it and enable it only when i need to use it

I've tried my hand at implementing folding retention, however I could not figure out how to do so. Anyone is free to give it a shot and PR a fix, until then I'll close this issue.
