That sounds very unusual. This is not likely a problem with getssl but with the issuing Certificate Authority.
Is this for a cert from Let's Encrypt? If so, and the cert is wrongly constructed it would be a mistake by Let's Encrypt.
You should post about this on their support forum

Thank you so much. Yes, Let's Encrypt. Some browsers report no problems, IE, certs work perfectly.
I'm doing more research and it may be a bug in the browsers I'm using. Imagine that!
