As to eclipse - if you use Eclipse, you can get integration with maven via M2E. I use Dagger in eclipse. M2E allows me to have eclipse auto-configure for most if not all of my maven plugins.
Having said that, I'll be getting a proper maven plugin (that M2E will seamlessly invoke) to separate out code-generation so it's a bit easier to work with in eclipse, provides separate source locations for code-gen on a different lifecycle.

Thanks Christian, could you add the Google groups information to the README?
I was aware of m2e, but don't you have to do all of your builds in Maven and as a result lose most of the Eclipse/ADT features like error highlighting, Android lint, etc?

Not at all. M2E configures eclipse and eclipse plugins to work with the maven lifecycle. If you have the appropriate maven plugins in your pom.xml files, then m2e will auto-configure any equivalent eclipse plugins that are there (if m2e adapters are present).
But regardless, you can always take projects which are configured by m2e (which would just be java projects) and add project natures. I don't think the square folks use eclipse, so they might not be able to help as much, but if Jesse whips up a mini android maven project, I can make sure it works in eclipse, and throw down some basic instructions.
Also, there is now a G+ page.

OK, thanks for all the great help and development of the tool. I'll definitely give it a shot in a month or two once I get my redesign finished. Where's the G+ page?

I think I made a post on there that wasn't approved--is someone moderating the group?
from dagger.
Sorry - I have things on "approve initial posts" but I have been ill,
and haven't been moderating consistently. Jesse's also a moderator now,
and I'll be better about keeping on it next week.
