It sounds like this is a particular aspect of the general need for reflection capabilities. You want to be able to examine a type's attributes at runtime, from JS, I assume?

I think in practice, something like JSIL.AddAttribute will probably end up being the solution. This would also imply that MakeClass and MakeStruct would start initializing a more concrete 'type info' data structure that would allow the whole reflection infrastructure to be implemented.

Okay - I might have a bash at throwing this in then, I have a workaround for now (Search for the property that exists, populate it, ignore the attribute, this will work for the short term)
