[neo4j] count method performance problems about grails-data-mapping

A static cypher query counting the Person instances executes in ~0.200 seconds against 10,000 records:

def population = Person.cypherStatic("start n=node({this}) match n-[:INSTANCE]->m return count(*) as population").iterator().next()['population']

In the commit above I've introduced some shortcut when count() is triggered. This should improve performance a lot, but not as much as expected. I need to do some profiling on that.
In the meantime, could you plz upgrade g-d-m, and install neo4j 1.0.0.SNAPSHOT and run your tests again? thx.
