Switch to gulp.js for streamlined post processing about koan

I would love it if you made this a priority :)

Gulp is new to me and I'm struggling a little with porting grunt to gulp.

Gulp has some major shortcomings at the moment blocking me from converting to it fully. I'm waiting for it to get the missing features in place.

Do you mind mentioning what one or two of the shortcomings you have in mind are?

Plugins! Last time I looked, half the plugins I used were missing. There was also another matter but I can't remember right now.

can your at now switch to gulp.js? it has more 4k plugins today and it not limit at near future

It still doesn't have working angular-protractor plugin! I'm revisiting this from time to time but it is still not there.

Yep, seen that last year. Still requires manual download of webdriver along with proper config etc. etc. It's really hard to get it right on all platforms and this dude did put tons of time into it: https://github.com/teerapap/grunt-protractor-runner

this is just one of the things that I'm waiting, there is more.. and I'm on the watch just don't hold your breath yet:)

I'll revisit this task after angular 2.0 & npm 3.0 catches up in popularity. I see more and more projects going forward with no task runner. Task runners and custom tasks do no more than wrapping existing tools anyway most the time. We'll see, but I guess I'll leave it up to people to choose their own task runner if they really like to use one. I like what these guys are doing though: https://github.com/angular/material-start
