Instead of specify "stream anywhere," why not just define an interface for pluggable transports? You already appear to have a fairly consistent api in lib/logs.js
, so you'd just need to formalize it a bit and decide where things like the chunks
business logic could go.
That way a user could plug in a stream interface, on the client side they could write and plug in one for logging back to the server via rest/websockets, etc.
