Using bool type parmeter failed with error code = 100132 in multi statements query about gosnowflake

Thanks for the quick response. It seems that binding variable works for other types. For example:

ctx, _ := gosnowflake.WithMultiStatement(context.Background(), 2)
rows, _ := c.QueryContext(ctx, "SELECT CASE WHEN TO_BOOLEAN(?) THEN 1 ELSE 2 END; SELECT 0", strconv.FormatBool(true))

Hello - thank you for raising this issue! Snowflake (the backend, not the driver) currently does not support binding variables in multiple statement queries. Documentation: https://docs.snowflake.com/en/developer-guide/sql-api/submitting-multiple-statements

we're working on adding this bit to each driver's own documentation. edit until then, as a workaround, please submit the variable bound statements as an individual one - tested and it works perfectly with

selectQuery := "SELECT CASE WHEN ? THEN 1 ELSE 2 END"
rows, err := conn.QueryContext(ctx, selectQuery, true)

(and of course sf.WithMultiStatement either set to 1 or context not created as a multi-statement)

that's a great find and happy that it works; unclear if it's intended to work or unexpected because the current documented behaviour is it should not work. so maybe proper care should be taken when considering taking dependency on this behaviour.
