gameboid's Introduction

GameBoid is free and open source GBA emulator for Android, based on gpSP.

It has most of gpSP and Android shared emulator routines library features including:

  • zipped games support
  • on-screen controls
  • save-load support

Building:

GameBoid depends on shared emulator routines library, which can be obtained from Sourceforge.

To build debug version execute following commands (taking, that you are in project directory and checked out library source is under ../emudroid-common):

$ android update project -p . -l ../emudroid-common $ NDK_DEBUG=1 ndk-build $ ant debug

gameboid's Issues

Link Cable

Does gameboid has support on C level implementation for game link?

I ask because I'd like to see a Android App where we can game link through wifi, bluethooth or internet server. Also, I'd like to contribute.

NDK build issue

I get the following error when I try to build using NDK:

[armeabi] SharedLibrary : libgba.so ./../emudroid-common//jni/libnativehelper/include/nativehelper/JNIHelp.h:108: error: undefined reference to 'jniRegisterNativeMethods' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [obj/local/armeabi/libgba.so] Error 1

Any ideas?

Virtual Shoulder (L and R) Buttons

I can't find the shoulder buttons (L and R buttons) on the virtual/onscreen gamepad.
A physical GBA has it, and a lot of games utilize those buttons.
Are those buttons hidden, or is there any specific settings to display it on the screen?
Thanks.
