The same for me. When I run the task on Windows, it's start a PHP server and wait for a "CTRL+C" to stop running. The "watch" task never run after this. I set "keepalive" explicit to false, but no success. It's as if keepalive was set to true by default or something like this.

PR welcome for a fix, but I don't really care to be honest. It works fine on real OSes.

I'll take a peek at this, as I have to support these bastard OSes that doesn't work as you expect it to.
Edit: I'm actually starting to agree with @sindresorhus on this, tried to fix this for 2 whole days, and the biggest problem is nodejs not working to well on the windows platform. I don't know if it's worth spending so much time to get around the issue. So for now I'm running my project that depends on php on Ubuntu.
