As far as I know there is no auto brightness icon on pixel firmware. And the brightness icon issue is better explained in #192 which is more up to date and can be replicated on pixel devices as well. I think we should close this issue and continue work on that one. If @siavash79 and @ElTifo also agree, we can close this and shift discussion there.
The brightness icon issue is only present in QQS brightness slider (if it is enabled in AOSPMods) ONLY if "light QS panel on light theme" option is disabled whilst using light theme. No other option or setting is creating this icon color bug.
