Sorry Matthieu, but I don't understand what you wish to add. Could you explain
a little bit more?

I guess he wants a line in the dashboard telling you the version actually
running on your site and if there's a new version available

Ok great, but my thinking was the following:
When a new item is created its default state is : DRAFT (doesn't appear on the
website)
Then after an approval request it becomes : PENDING (doesn't appear on the
website)
When it's approved the state becomes : PUBLISHED (appear on the website)
Now when the published article is edited again by someone who is not allowed to
publish and approve versions I suggest to switch it automatically to : IN
PROGRESS (appear on the website)
As soon as the version is approved by a publisher it switches back to : PUBLISH

IMHO this solution is the best in terms of performance and usability with the
component as it is now.
When I'll be finished with the FLEXIworkflow component all these problem will
disappear.

What do you think about that?
Cheers,
Emmanuel

I think that you misunderstood what we meant... we were talking about
FLEXIcontent's versions... Just like... "You're Running FLEXIcontent 1.5.2 on
this site" and if there's an upgrade "1.5.3 is available - download it here!"
This should be in the dashboard, on the right side maybe? ;)
