Hi there. For modal popups I use mediaboxAdvanced (MooTools 1.2.x).
I guess the best option would be another option in minigallery to not load any
modal library and instead add custom element paramter to the <a> tag like
rel="lightbox" or class="modal" as we can load them using the template or some
modalizer plugin thingy.
Plus there are other joomla extensions that may load those libraries so let's
not force it.
