@shaise JIC (you probably already know anyway), there are some broken image links on that wiki page.

Hi,
I did not make this wiki page. How can I help?

from freecad_fastenerswb.

luzpaz avatar luzpaz commented on August 26, 2024

Oh if that's the case, I'm not sure then. Perhaps take a look at it and see if there is anything you think people should be aware about ? If you are feeling comfortable with the idea, you could make a youtube clip or a screencast of the workbench in action? Whatever you think.

I think you should also add the https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/Fasteners_Workbench links somewhere in the README.md as well.

Wiki pages are cool! I was about to say this could be closed but:

  • FreeCAD's What's this? command could not open correct wiki page because name of commands a wiki pages differ, I made some changes and it's working for some commands I think @shaise should decide what name to use on the commands that differ. This is irrelevant for fasteners commands because we don't have that many pages in the Wiki.
  • https://wiki.freecad.org/Fasteners_ChamferHole is deprecated, a message should be added, in the WB we have: "The Fasteners Workbench countersunk holes feature is deprecated, and may be removed in the future. Please consider using a PartDesign Hole feature instead". Edit: made this change on the Wiki, needs change?
