Hello,

I don't think there is any risk of a ban for using this app.
There is no weird process, the application just reads a log file generated by the game and parses the results.
However, I will contact CCP to confirm that and put the information in the README file.

What i conclude

So it's not a "supported" way of using the chat logfiles but as there is a lot of tools doing same or more than EveIntelChecker (still up after some years), I don't think there is any risk of using this app (for now at least).
By the way, if any changes appears, I'll update here.
It's up to you to use it or not but I don't think there's any risk as there is nothing that interact with the game client, it just reads a text file and don't give huge advantage to the players.

At least it's my point of view.
