💼 Experience

  • Senior Software Engineer (Frontend Team Lead) - Asurion Japan (2018 - Present)
    • Led and managed a team of around 6 developers responsible for producing and maintaining projects involved in mobile and web frontend developments.
    • Designed and developed a highly configurable and scalable desktop applications for both Windows and Mac OS. These applications, used by logistic factories worldwide, run diagnostics on mobile devices using frameworks like Angular, React, and Electron.
    • Played a key role in the architectural design, development and maintenance of the frontend part of a mobile application (for both iOS and Android) used by approximately 5 million users in Japan in collaboration with KDDI, the second largest provider in Japan.
    • Contributed to the growth of the application, achieving a cumulative provisioning count of 788K and maintaining a stable monthly active user base of around 80K.
    • Involved in mobile application development for both iOS and Android using native languages, such as Swift and Kotlin
  • Software Engineer II - Thermo Fisher Scientific Singapore (2015 - 2018)
    • Designed and developed genetic instrument and genetic data analysis web applications using AngularJS, Spring MVC, and AWS services
    • Responsible for the initial design and development of new UI applications and extensive software revisions
    • Designed application architecture for building secure and reliable applications on the AWS platform
    • Continually evolved the team’s tech stack by participating in various IT conferences and hackathons
  • Software Engineer - Fuji Xerox Singapore (2011 - 2015)
    • Designed UI and back-end logic to satisfy client needs
    • Developed several new UI features for printers, such as custom paper types
    • Played a role in the successful UI transition from Xerox's old generation to the new generation
