If you get this error it's because localforage hasn't been included before angular-localforage :)

Ok, thanks. I'll have to dig into to see why only IE isn't including localforage before angular-localforage, Chrome and Firefox work fine.

It's not 100% certain that it's the cause, in fact you get this error because localforage is undefined when angular-forage is initiated. Usually it's because the localforage file isn't included in time, but it can be something else, for example an error in the localforage file that prevents it from being defined (or at least defined in time)
