Amongst others, but also in automatic report generation. For example, I would like to output phrases like:

The deviation measurement-simulation was 1.6 dB (averaged over 0.02-20 GHz, log frequency).

And at any rate, it is not nice to have code output lies ;)

so, this assumes if its not linear then its log. however, its possible to have random spacing (this frequently happens when stitching two networks together). i think we will should add this distinction.

as far as implementation, your code could be directly put into frequency.Frequency by making Frequency.sweep_type a property
