Indeed.
I noticed the similarity before copying it over from Debian's BTS, but I wasn't sure because the Debian bug report seemed more general.
Then OTOH I indeed couldn't reproduce it via some mobile connection by fpinging some hosts at ETH. I first thought the issue may be fixed in 3.2 already, but found no according commit. Then I ssh'ed into the box where I tested it the last time (with the same test hosts which are in the same subnet) and there those messages showed up again.
So now, after your comment and thinking again about where I experienced the issue, those two issues really look the same and the Debian bug report likely just misses some relevant details.
I guess GitHub has no(t yet a) possibility to mark issues as duplicates, hence I'm closing this issue now.
