Hi folks, I am working at DockYard now and can allocate time to give this library some attention. Thanks you for the offers though!

I probably wouldn't change much except to maybe limit/reduce what it does. Maybe even pull the plug out into a separate lib, because Bodyguard itself would be incredibly stable without plug dependency.

This is actually exactly what I was alluding to. I will open up new thread for that discussion.

Hello @schrockwell and @leandrocp I'm also happy to help either as a maintainer or with PRs. I'm currently switching to Bodyguard from a homegrown solution so I'm interested in the design concerns.

Hey @schrockwell and @leandrocp, I opened #72 to address #70.

@schrockwell FWIW**, I actually really like the design of Bodyguard. My team likes it as well. I probably wouldn't change much except to maybe limit/reduce what it does. Maybe even pull the plug out into a separate lib, because Bodyguard itself would be incredibly stable without plug dependency.

** My opinion isn't worth all that much. πŸ˜‰ But I appreciate this library. Thank you.

Hi there, just wanted to let you know that I have seen this and that I really appreciate your offer and am seriously considering it. Let me get back to you in a few days.

Hey @schrockwell thanks for considering this offer. Keep in mind that I have no plans to change the internal design nor the public API. The lib is great as it’s is, I just want to make sure it continues to be stable for future usage.

Sure, that's not my concern at all, I just need to figure out my priorities over here. Obviously the library has grown in use a lot since its inception, and I just haven't been doing a lot of Phoenix/Elixir lately. I also have some concerns about the design of the library as a whole, and have been waffling on how to tackle that.

No pressure but feel free to share your concerns so I may be able to help tackle them.
