Good idea.
TV4 validator needs to have the external references loaded beforehand. See how in the gruntfile.js.
Dont set the id property on the schema.

@scottaddie Your blog post looks pretty good! I can provide more feedback when I get a chance to look at JSON schemas again.
This is where I left off with the ArcGIS schemas I was trying to add. It's been a while since I worked on this, but I think the thing I was having trouble with was getting one schema file to reference another.
