The font size is now reduced to almost half, from 170% to 100%. See if it helps. I don't have Apple devices to test the epub on, the only way to check has been by going to the city and testing it in a computer store.
I'm not at all satisfied with the look of the epub in iBooks. It doesn't recognize embedded fonts, math is garbled, Scheme code is not monospaced, and output just vanishes somewhere later in the book.
