Safeyah is a graduate student at Columbia University, where she studies computer engineering with a focus in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Immediately after graduation, Safeyah got a referral to be a computer engineer and lead a national project at Kuwait's Central Bureau of Information Technology. Safeyah coordinated an extensive robotics workshop during her junior year. Safeyah enjoys encouraging others to understand technology tools and learn to program. Thus, Safeyah worked as a teaching assistant with different associations for various courses. Safeyah has developed many projects and products using Java, Python, and Swift. Living in New York, Collaborating with passionate colleges at Columbia, and gaining knowledge from professional instructors motivated Safeyah to seek an internship in US tech companies with a challenging and exciting work environment.
