Feature request: flexible selection of FORMAT fields to include in XSI about xsqueezeit

Thank you for the feedback.
I understand the need for these formats, especially with more and more researchers working with imputed data.
For the moment we don't include these fields and I personally don't have the time to add support for them for the moment.

To achieve fast (de)compression of specific fields they should be encoded/compressed in a specific way so each format needs quite a lot of work. We had a student working on adding the GP field (see #4) but there still were issues with random access on genomic positions, so while whole file compression/decompression seems to work I didn't incorporate it because the -r, -R options don't work.

If you are looking for a more general solution that can handle generic fields I can suggest to take a look at this project : https://github.com/statgen/savvy maybe it suits your needs.

If by any chance I get the time to work on this or if someone else adds generic format support in XSI I'll let you know.
