@powerboat9 I use this for the ./configure step:
../configure CC='ccache clang' CXX='ccache clang++' CXXFLAGS='-O0 -g -fno-pie -fuse-ld=mold -fsanitize=address' CFLAGS='-O0 -g -fno-pie -fuse-ld=mold -fsanitize=address' LDFLAGS='-no-pie' --disable-bootstrap --disable-multilib --enable-languages=rust (there is some extra stuff for using mold and ccache and no-pie)
and then when actually building the project, I set the ASAN_OPTIONS env value to detect_leaks=0 like so:
make -C build-asan -j14 ASAN_OPTIONS=detect_leaks=0
