Can't you just make these part of the Up migration?
I'm not sure if it even makes sense to run them during status. Imagine a situation where the public.examples table is deleted again in a later migration.
I'm not sure this should be part of the migration framework anyway. Verifying the correct execution of your application is the task of the test framework.
