Blank pages inserted by psbook are not rendered about psutils

OK, thanks very much indeed: your reading of the code and solution is spot on. I have added some comments so that hopefully future me and other readers will understand faster. Now to update the tests (which I hadn't noticed contained pages with not even a "showpage") and push a fix.

Oh, and clarified the code, because of the two different things both called real_page. Gah, this was horrible.
