Where should I configure password? about hassio-local-vlc

Same issue here. Should be in /data/secret but I have no idea where to exactly find it.

How to execute those commands?
The topic start mentions step 5 of the instructions, whilst nowdays the instructions only consist of 3 steps and don't mention a password. However, for the HA integration, it is needed to add a password to configuration.yaml

So a little late but I had the same issue, sort of, password wasn't working.
You can "Configure" a password in the addon at the top of the addon, but when you launch the Web UI at port 9892, you need to leave the username blank, and use just the password you created.

Anyone solved this? I just installed the addon, but the configuration tab doesn't allow me to enter the password.
There's only Audio input and output setting, that's all.

A bit weird, but I uninstalled the addon, installed again, and went to configuration and now I see more options, including the passwords...
