From what I can see, the module uses libdc1394 version 1.x. Since version 2 there were several changes and therefore the module does not compile anymore.
I updated http://wiki.icub.org/wiki/YARP_Supported_Distributions and according to that, that there is no reason to
keep compatibility with libdc1394 v1.x, the only reason why we could consider doing it is for iCubs with the CFW01 board, still running debian etch.
If someone wants to do fix this, here is a migration guide from 1.x to 2.0.

This has been done, required the change in config file me and @ale-git did some time ago. I'll close it
btw this was more an icub issue then a yarp one. my fault
from yarp.
