Wow, you'd think that someone would have a brain at Samsung. Events firing in the wrong order? That fundamentally breaks the input api.
Well does it still always fire a keyup and keydown? Also does it always fire in the same order? If it does then you could just swap the events keyboardJS is binding to. Replace keyup with keydown and keydown with keyup.
I can't believe they would ship something with such a terrible bug. Thats down right embarrassing.

Cunning - swapped them and it seems to work fine - it does seem to consistently fire both, just always in the wrong order.
Will do that for now - and see if they think its worth fixing...

PS the saga continues... just found out that the issue is only with the latest emulator - the TV does the right thing :( Now I need to either switch it on deployment or detect what the app is running on...
