I am using fluidsynth version 1.1.11 incase it matters 👍
I have a revision up for updating it to 2.0.2 but it hasn't got merged yet 😅

Did some more digging and adding a new engine in qsynth makes jack avaliable, it still gives and error though, about not being able to create the jack driver...
If you want, I could send the buildfile to you...

it's probably about (lib)fluidsynth build and not to qsynth in first place--you probably built and installed (lib)fluidsynth without JACK support.

- Qsynth doesn't work with Jack with more than 2 stereo channels HOT 1
- Even channels do not play back through JACK when audio group number is set to 2 HOT 5
- Problems integrating fluidsynth-2.2.0 with the new wasapi audio driver in windows HOT 2
